“The Sea The Sea are ready to take their place among the best young male/female duos now performing. Their sound and their songs are a perfect match of emotional strength and delicate beauty.” – Larry Groce, NPR’s Mountain Stage

The animated video for their song “Waiting” sparked viral interest including Buzzfeed, Pitchfork, and inclusion at the international TED 2015 conference. Their 2016 release, the six-song EP In the Altogether, earned features on Apple Music’s ‘Best of the Week’ and ‘A-List Singer/Songwriter’ lists. “Two of the loveliest male-female voices you might ever hear this or any other year…If Joni Mitchell and Elvis Costello had ever decided back in the day to write, sing and make a duets record together, it might’ve sounded something like this.” – Huffington Post
