“I THINK SHE HAS THE RIGHT IDEAS FOR THE BIG TIME…EVERYTHING SHE PRODUCES HAS A TWIST OR QUIRK TO IT THAT MAKES IT INTERESTING AND INVITING… IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS.”
Jason Spencer – Founder, Editor, & Writer for The Prog Mind
“I’LL NEVER FORGET A PERFORMANCE I ATTENDED THIS PAST SPRING AT THE AKRON CIVIC THEATER… SHE CAPTIVATED THE AUDIENCE. SHE FOSTERED A SWELL OF EMOTION AND UNITY.”
Amanda Rabinowitz – WKSU / NPR Shuffle
Award Winning Singer Songwriter, Angie Haze is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer. Her latest sound is evocative and experimental with a new, creep-pop appeal. Riveting and poignant, it features haunting vocal arrangements and diverse instrumentation. Haze fearlessly uncovers her viability as a way to enlighten and connect people. Her story of survival never fails to influence change.
Angie is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. Her story is in her songs. Her songs are for the forgotten; to uplift the voices of those who have been silenced. This journey has ignited her passion:”I’ve had one dream since birth – performing and creating music with my chosen people. And if I can be a voice for others, then all that I endured to get here would have been worth it.”
Angie Haze’s gritty performance features four-part vocal arrangements and a wide variety of musicians. Her band represents commonality that reflects the voices of distinct cultures. “We are more than just bandmates. We are family and we want nothing more than to demonstrate how music can foster unity amongst diversity, compassion for humanity, and a bond necessary to continue.”
