Bourbon Express is a country band based in NYC, led by wife-husband duo Katie and Brendan Curley. Both grew up in Washington state and met in Brooklyn. While the band has seen many lineup configurations, the duo remains its core, with Katie writing the songs and singing and Brendan playing lead guitar. In 2018, they released their first studio album, Cry About It Later, produced by Eric Ambel (Joan Jett, Steve Earle). The debut was lauded in No Depression as being “rooted as deep as possible in this country’s musical history and archives.” Bourbon Express has a new collection of songs and is scheduling live shows for summer 2021.
