Campfire Cassettes is a 4 piece indie band that plays short, quirky songs for short, quirky people. They are lyrically fixated on the sex they aren’t having, the drugs they aren’t taking, and the murders they’re aren’t committing.

Campfire Cassettes is a Los Angeles based, indie folk band that was started in 2012 by Jonathan Buchanan. Inspired by bands like the Magnetic Fields and Neutral Milk Hotel, Jonathan bought himself a cheap acoustic guitar and once he learned to play the darn thing, started writing quirky, short songs often featuring his dark sense of humor.

Over the next 4 years Campfire Cassettes has played over 100 shows, touring the majority of the US releasing 2 EPs and 2 full length albums.
