The Nashville band, Cordovas has a Midwest connection, with Des Moines’ own Lucca Soria on lead guitar. The best way to describe their sound is Funky Country/Southern Rock Jam Band. Soria just smokes the fret board. Most remarkable are the soaring harmonies. These guys hit notes that would make Mariah Carey jealous.
This is a band that alludes to the time of harmony singing sweetly in the 70’s. The songs sway hither and thither of folk rock, New Orleans swing, country, funk, gospel, hillbilly, and blues.
