Music has the power to transport us to another time and place. Donovan loves to harness that power with a broad audience of fellow music lovers and passionate musicians alike. Ever since a young age he has found great joy and satisfaction in making music and sharing it with fans and people all over the world.

Donovan Howard is the songwriters songwriter. The kind of guy that can not only write a good song, but has the ability to perform them very well. With a voice similar to Tony Arata, and some nice guitar chops he is well equipped to demo his songs to a wide audience. He and his wife live in Livingston, Kentucky where his wife owns and runs “On the River Road” a unique store with homemade ice cream, gifts, and local raw honey. Donovan is part of a vigilante group of songwriters that live on the very edge of society, that all participate in a Songaweek program. It has open enrollment year round and doesn’t cost anything to join. The participating song writers are very good at giving feedback on whatever song a songwriter writes for the week. Donovan’s song for last week entitled “Welcome to the Family” is a great example of the songwriting Donovan’s is capable of.
