Members of the Four Prophet String Band have been busy playing in Philadelphia-based bluegrass, old time, and jazz bands (Keystone Mountain Boys, Belleville Quartet, The Old Fashioneds) for the past several years. They’ve recently come together to share their love of three- and four-part harmony singing, and the exhilarating rhythms of traditional Southern fiddle styles. Playing both familiar standards and hidden gems with passion and drive, the Four Prophet String Band embraces the timeless appeal of American folk music as a living tradition.
