Gone but not forgotten, the great Hank Williams, Sr., is remembered and celebrated by this group of talented musicians. After more than 20 years, John Lilly, a national award-winning Hank Williams Sr. tribute artist, will be performing the Hank tribute for the last time. Joining Lilly on this farewell Hank tour will be guitarists Ron Sowell and Ritchie Collins, drummer Ammed Solomon (from Mountain Stage), bassist Nick Blake, fiddler Georgia Lilly (from Glenville State College) and steel guitarist Karl Smakula – originally from Montrose, WV, coming to us now from Nashville, Tennessee.

The show will include classic renditions of many of Hank Williams’ most enduring songs, including Your Cheating Heart, Jambalaya (On the Bayou), Lovesick Blues and I Saw the Light. The performers will also relate details and insight into many of these popular songs and Williams’ troubled life, leading up to his untimely death in Oak Hill, West Virginia, on New Years Day 1953. He was 29. Also featured will be the world premier of an original Hank Williams tribute song written by John Lilly.
