For Kyle Lacy and Cody Gibson, Sun Records was the spark that started a fire. Hired as session players, they bonded over a love of Carl Perkins, Howlin Wolf, and songs about muddy water. Returning to their adopted home of Harlem, New York, they recorded a debut album blending blues, soul, and rockabilly. Their live show features undeniable stage presence, instrument-switching, and upside down upright bass.
