Florida based songwriter and multi instrumentalist Roy Schneider shares his tasty and beguiling stew of roots, folk and Americana music throughout the U.S. and Europe. He and duo partner Kim Mayfield put in more than 30,000 miles on the road annually in a Honda Odyssey they call “Ulysses.”

Roy has received accolades for his songwriting and performance at festivals and competitions such as the 30A Songwriters Festival, Telluride Blues and Brews Festival (Acoustic Blues,) Falcon Ridge Folk Festival’s Emerging Artist Showcase, and the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk competition. Other notable past performances include the MAD fest in Yorkshire, England, Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, and contestant on NBC’s “The Voice.”

Schneider is also a gifted accompanist and has performed on stage with Gove Scrivenor, Buddy Mondlock, Freebo (Bonnie Raitt,) John McEuen of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Tom Paxton among others. Roy’s latest release, “Walls That Talk,” was entirely fan funded and debuted at #3 on the Folk DJ chart.
