Toughcats
For ten years now this power trio of banjo, resonator guitar, and drums have been surprising audiences with their original take on Indie Americana Rock. They have an explosive energy with to-the-point songs similar to The Ramones but matched with a unique and balanced blend of song writing more like the Feelies or Wilco. Their music winds its way from banjo driven instrumentals, to 70′s sounding power pop, and finds a way to make a delicate ballad or rock rhythm fit right in. Balanced by two lead vocalists and well timed harmonies, Toughcats create a sound all their own.
